About Friesen Gallery
The Friesen Gallery at NNU holds multiple shows and exhibits per season displaying the art of students as well as artists from around the world. The Friesen Gallery also has an extensive permanent collection available for loan through the website. The Friesen Gallery is located on the second level in the Brandt Center at Northwest Nazarene University.
Amy Griffin
Gallery Director (2020-Present)
As Gallery Director for Friesen Gallery at Northwest Nazarene University, Amy Griffin manages the gallery spaces in the Brandt Center and oversees the permanent collection of artwork. She curates six unique exhibitions throughout the academic year, working with local and visiting artists to create diverse, educationally focused displays.
Under her direction, the gallery has featured exhibitions that address important cultural topics while collaborating with various departments across campus and the community. Her responsibilities include artwork selection, installation, and creating marketing materials for each exhibition.
